Our Candidates
Adam Allen
Adam Allen is one of the leading Wyoming County Libertarians, who is working to form an affiliate in that county. He administers Wyoming County Libertarians on Facebook, has organized events for the party and wants to be a voice for Wyoming County in the Libertarian Party.
Erin Becker
Erin Becker is the current Secretary of the Erie County Libertarian Party. She is a speech-language pathologist who works with children who have developmental disabilities. She was raised with Libertarian ideals and has been a registered Libertarian since she was 18. She has been active in the Monroe and Erie county affiliates for all of her adult life and has been to two national conventions. She looks forward to growing the party and fighting for our freedoms.
Gerrit Cain
Gerrit Cain is the current Secretary of the Chautauqua County Libertarian Party. He volunteered for the Larry Sharpe for Governor campaign in 2018, collecting ballot petition signatures, organizing speaking events, and bringing awareness to the campaign and party.
He carried this energy into a run for Chautauqua County Legislator and reached hundreds of voters. Presently, he is working with other liberty loving folks to shake the yolk of the state off western New York and intends to continue working to bring the message of liberty to voters.
Andrew Kolstee
Andrew M. Kolstee is the current Chair of the Chautauqua County Libertarian Party and member of the Interim State Committee. He has been an enrolled Libertarian since he first registered to vote in 2009. He was Communications Director of the state party from 2017 to 2019, was a regional field coordinator for both the 2016 Gary Johnson campaign and 2018 Larry Sharpe campaign. He has been to two national conventions and helped organize two state conventions. He has been an active member of a number of state party committees and is dedicated to expanding the party’s infrastructure to grow the party in order to bring the ideals of libertarianism to affect change in government.
Peyton Kunselman
Peyton Kunselman is the current Chair of the Cattaraugus County Libertarian Party. Previously, he has served as county’s Secretary and Vice-Chair and was the representative from Cattaraugus County on the State Committee. He ran for Alderman in the City of Olean’s 6th Ward. He hopes to bring innovation to the State Committee by being a voice for the younger constituents in the party.
Len Morlock
Len Morlock is the current Vice-Chair of the Chautauqua County Libertarian Party. He has been a libertarian for several years.
Duane J. Whitmer
Duane J. Whitmer is an accountant and the current Chair of the Erie County Libertarian Party and member of the Interim State Committee of the Libertarian Party of New York. He is currently a candidate for New York’s 27th congressional district.
